Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on Checkout and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit card payment, once an order is placed we will debit your card in pounds sterling (UK).
Payments to The Floppy are processed via Paypal enabling Paypal registered customers to complete a purchase without having to share their financial details online. At checkout, customers are also able to pay with Visa, Mastercard or American Express. Alternatively please call 02890 350395 during office hours to place your order.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
Out Of Stock Items
Please note that thefloppy.co.uk website does have a live integrated stock system so this should not happen.
If stock does not arrive in 28 days of us receiving your order, we will notify you and refund the cost.
UK orders are normally delivered within 3-4 days.
Credit Card Security
For your peace of mind, when orders are placed at our website credit card details are processed on our behalf by PayPal using 128 bit SSL encryption, they are not sent or held on any of our computers.

Return and Refund Policy
In line with current UK Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs) thefloppy.co.uk accepts faulty returns and sealed goods for refund or replacement. Customers are required to inform thefloppy.co.uk in writing (or in another durable medium such as e-mail) that they wish to cancel the transaction within seven working days (not including weekends or bank holidays) after the day on which they receive the goods.
All Goods are inspected before dispatch to ensure they conform the the highest standard. Where goods are being returned for reason other than fault, goods must be returned in original packaging by recorded insured method (at the customers expense) and thefloppy.co.uk undertake to provide the customer with a full refund.
